16. REVERSE.

Pull in approximately 12” away from the kerb


Look all around your vehicle 3 mirrors and both shoulders before you start


Keep approximately 12” away from the kerb
.

Keep the speed of your vehicle nice and slow


At the corner always do a direct observation check over your RIGHT shoulder
.

Also look over your left shoulder out the back window as much as possible during this manouevre

Keep reversing back until the tester asks you to stop, finishing up about 12” away from the kerb .




17. TURNABOUT


Pull in approximately 12” away from the kerb.

Look all around your vehicle 3 mirrors and both shoulders before you start.


Keep the speed of your vehicle nice and slow.


Go as close to the far side of the road as is possible, without touching the kerb.


When reversing back , keep looking all around your vehicle and again use as much road space as possible.


If possible complete the manoeuvre in three turns, but on a very narrow road or using a larger vehicle four or five turns are allowed.




18. PARKING


At the end of your Driving Test , you are still being marked up until you park your vehicle so make sure that the space you park is SAFE and LEGAL. Do not obstruct other vehicles or block the alleyway into the Mart or Irwin buildings. Do not park more than 18” from the kerb.

Follow the Tester back into the office to get your result ………..
